Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, entering the grounds of Cyrillica Open Air Community Gathering (the Gathering), or participating in Gathering activities, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Voluntary Participation

    I understand that participation in the Gathering and its activities is voluntary.

    Gathering activities may include, but are not limited to:

    • yoga and movement practices
    • dance and ecstatic dance
    • breathwork and somatic exercises
    • workshops and group practices
    • outdoor activities
    • ceremonial fire or fire-related activities
    • camping and outdoor living

    I choose to participate at my own discretion.

  2. Assumption of Risk

    I understand that participation in physical or outdoor activities involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

    • physical injury
    • falls or accidents
    • emotional or psychological responses during workshops
    • environmental hazards
    • interaction with other participants

    I accept full responsibility for my participation and assume all risks associated with attending the Gathering.

  3. Health Responsibility

    I confirm that I am responsible for my own physical and mental health.

    If I have any medical condition or injury that may affect my ability to participate safely, I will take appropriate precautions and seek medical advice if necessary.

    I agree to immediately stop any activity if I feel unwell, unsafe, or unable to continue.

  4. Release of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, I release and hold harmless:

    • Cyrillica Open Air Community Gathering organisers
    • event staff and volunteers
    • workshop facilitators
    • performers and contractors
    • Allawah Scout Camp venue
    • event partners and sponsors

    from any claims, liability, injury, damage, loss, or expenses arising from my participation in the Gathering.

  5. Children

    If I attend with children:

    • I understand that I am fully responsible for supervising them at all times.
    • I will not leave children unattended anywhere on the Gathering grounds.
    • I understand that children’s activities are not a childcare service.

    Gathering organisers and volunteers are not responsible for supervising children.

  6. Alcohol and Behaviour

    I agree to behave responsibly and respectfully toward other participants.

    I understand that dangerous, disruptive, or illegal behaviour may result in removal from the Gathering without refund.

  7. Personal Property

    I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings.

    Cyrillica Open Air Community Gathering organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

  8. Photography and Media

    I understand that photography and video recording may occur during the Gathering.

    By attending the Gathering, I grant permission for my image or likeness to be used for Gathering documentation, promotion, and marketing.

  9. Agreement

    By attending the Gathering, purchasing a ticket, or entering the grounds, I confirm that:

    • I have read and understood this waiver
    • I voluntarily agree to these terms
    • I accept responsibility for my participation
